    About Us

    Midland glass has been trading for more than 30 years under the ownership of husband and wife, Allan and Jane Cooper.
    Starting with the manufacturing and supply of units to the trade industry and later upvc windows , doors and conservatories , Midland glass has steadily grown to be a well known and respected company in Derbyshire and surrounding counties.
    In December 2004 the company moved to purpose built 10,000 square feet premises, a huge leap from its three 1,000 square feet units near by. This new building was designed in part by Allan Cooper for the conditions required to store and manufacture soft coat low "e" units.
    Most recently the company has changed profile suppliers to a lead free "A" rated system - Liniar profile which is manufactured locally by HL plastics .
    The company's most recent achievements include BSEN 1279 part 3 which allows for gas filling of units in turn helping with our recent energy ratings for our Liniar window system .
    Building regulations in October of 2010 say that all fabricators must supply at least a C rated certificated window . We achieved a C -11 ( high level C ) rated Chamfered window and an A +7 rated Sculptured window to meet and surpass the requirement
